Tomorrowland: Scenarios for Law Firms Beyond the Horizon Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
Tomorrowland lays out possible future scenarios for law firms, ranging from "nothing changes", to profound dislocations brought about by developments such as lawyer psychology blocking essential reforms, a dramatic escalation in the war for talent and "barbell" partner compensation models, the triumph of brand names (and the irrelevance of every other firm), the seemingly inexorable and deeply threatening rise of machine intelligence, new entrants including the Big Four grabbing market share, and more.
It doesn't predict what will happen, but explains what could, drawing widely from the history of other industries and broad experience with how markets evolve and change.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2017With "Tomorrowland: Scenarios for law firms beyond the horizon" Bruce MacEwen has produced another excellent book in his series analyzing the legal profession and the operations and strategy of many American and English law firms. It is an interesting, entertaining and thoughtful presentation of the prospects and alternatives in the years ahead for lawyers and the practice of law. I highly recommend "Tomorrowland" to law firm managers, lawyers and others interested in what the future holds for the legal profession.

5.0 out of 5 stars Paul Weiss "Courageous and audacious" (in other words 'plenty of BigLaw leaders aren't going to like reading this')
Congratulations Bruce. This is a very readable book in the same genre as your previous works. My early response is very much along the lines of Peter Kalis, K&L Gates "Masterful–and not just between the white lines" (in other words 'BigLaw wake up') and Brad Karp, Paul Weiss "Courageous and audacious" (in other words 'plenty of BigLaw leaders aren't going to like reading this').
